Avalanche to host the Boston Bruins: watch free on KTVD Ch. 20

DENVER — Denver looks to extend its three-game home winning streak with a victory against Miami.

The teams play Wednesday for the first time this season. Denver is 3-0 at home and Miami is 1-3 on the road.

You can watch Wednesday’s game live for free on 9NEWS and KTVD. Coverage begins at 6:30 p.m.

Kroenke Sports & Entertainment announced an extension of its “successful agreement with TEGNA,” the parent company of 9NEWS, which brings 20 Denver Nuggets and 20 Avalanche games to 9NEWS and KTVD for the 2025-26 season.

KTVD Ch. 20 is a 9NEWS substation owned by TEGNA, the parent company of 9NEWS. You can watch 9NEWS Mornings from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., 9NEWS at 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., 9NEWS at 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Bronco preseason games and specials, fan favorite shows like “Suits” and other 9NEWS specials.

A new direct-to-consumer sales platform by subscription, Altitude+will feature all Nuggets and Avalanche games not exclusive to a national network or subject to a league-imposed ban – at least 60 games per team.

Cable and satellite subscribers can check their TV guide to find 9NEWS, KUSA and KTVD in their lineup. If you have a voice-activated remote, you can request 9NEWS, My20, MyNetwork, NBC, KUSA or KTVD.
