Chris faces more than one DC character resurrected in another dimension

Publisher’s note: The episode contains spoilers for Peacemaker Season 2.
Peacemaker Season 2 is only a few episodes, but it is already hectic. The first jumped directly by rewriting continuity and establishing a connection with other projects in James GunnDCU, but more than that, it created at least two problems with which the heroes are confronted while Argus continues Chris (John Cena) While he has access to another dimension. Episode 2 may be mainly focused on Argus, but it left the story about something of a cliffhanger when Chris supposed the identity of his doppelgänger in the other world, and this is where the series resumes. Episode 3, “Another Rick Up My Sleeve”, finally plunges into the alternative dimension scenario As Chris explores an apparently ideal version of his life, with his living brother, a romance with Emilia Harcourt (Jennifer Holland), and all the fame he might want.
The last episode exceeds to advance each scenario, bringing Argus to the gateway to Chris and complicate the dynamics between Harcourt and Chris even further. Episode 3 is not short of action, but with a tense confrontation implemented for next week, the return of Judomaster (Nhut), and the introduction of Red St. Wild (Michael Rooker), a violent eagle hunter, it only seems to be the beginning. However, Season 2 is still struggling to incorporate all the characters Now that they no longer work in a team.
Episode 3 of “Peacemaker” season 2 enters a new world
After his drunk text in the hacourt of the other world, Chris wakes up in the other dimension, where the immediate difference is the presence of his brother, Keith (David Denman). After years to blame himself for the premature death of Keith, Chris has a new experience of the care of his brother, who wants to know where he was and has breakfast. It is an emotional experience for Chris, who hears his brother expressing his love for him, whatever happens, after years of sorrow. The season highlighted Chris’s desire to work on himself and to heal, and that could be exactly what he needs. However, this alternative universe is not a perfect world. Seeing his brother act strange, Keith asks if Chris again takes pills, which Chris denies despite the hidden bottles in the room of his Soclegänger. While this scenario goes to a disaster once Keith learns that this Chris killed his real brother, They share a gentle moment that propels Chris’ healing.
However, the concentration of Chris in the alternative dimension is Emilia Harcourt (who prefers her first name in this world). Chris hopes to rekindle his past relationship with his base. He meets her in Argus, passing their safety checks with shocking ease, only to discover that Emilia’s new boyfriend is Rick Flag Jr. (Joel Kinnaman), that he killed in his own world. Meet Rick Freaks Chris, but he is lucky to tell Emilia that he is trying to become a better man, and she seems interested, assuming that he will commit to operating their relationship. It seems that, if all the conversation was not based on a lie, the pair could have a chance. But, interesting, their discussion highlights the fact that, although the alternative Chris is considered a hero, the main Chris of the series is actually a better person, at least now.
There are many reasons why Chris is so intrigued by this other dimension, but a main one is the public perception of the peaceful. People in the streets stop to watch and take pictures of him, and the police are not trying to stop him when Chris jumps to save the citizens from an attack. After an explosion, Chris and Emilia testify to the sounds of Liberty attacking a government building using Cefanalolololololololololololol, not for the first time. Chris alone leaves attackers, Release the hostages and stop explosives just in time, and everything without your helmet. However, he received a decisive pass from Keith, which eliminates the helicopter that the sons of freedom were going to use as an escape. This sequence shows how effective the peace might be if it had a fraction of respect in its own dimension. By making the other world so attractive, Peacemaker reveals a lot about the character of Chris, showing how much he has grown since his introduction.
Episode 3 of season 2 of “Peacemaker” reveals a complication for Chris and Harcourt’s relationship
While Chris suffered his own adventure, the rest of the distribution fell in the background. Although he said to Adrian (Freddie Stroma) and Adebayo (Danielle Brooks) About the other dimension, Chris has not admitted to them that he continues to go back, so for the moment, Not much to do. In episode 3, they all wake up at Harcourt after their celebration the previous night, and, just like his scene in episode 1, Adrian tries to prove his knowledge, this time on spiders, to miss most of the facts. Although the group’s dynamics are always fun, their scenes do not advance history.
However, episode 3 allows Harcourt to provide a new perspective on his potential romance with Chris, who collapsed all season. The episode reveals that Three years before the events of the series, Harcourt was sleeping with Rick Flag Jr.just before The suicide team arrived and Chris killed him. This explains why Harcourt is so quick to move away from Chris and is parallel to the scenario of the other dimension. While Debayo questions Harcourt on Chris and why she ghosts him, Harcourt insists that the relationship will never happen, and now the public understands why. Although the romantic scenario is developing slowly throughout the series, this explanation makes it even more complicated.

After Eagly’s attack on Argus agents, the organization is ready to increase the situation, but they also express doubts about economies (Steve Agee). Despite Chris’s friend, he was assigned to the house, putting him in an awkward position. Sasha Bordeaux (Rodríguez) was not sure of himself, which is why Argus entered Chris’ house without saying it, and this is where things went wrong. The appellant of the hospital, she believes that Economos has caused Chris to flow that he was monitored, which he did technically. However, Fleury (Tim Meadows) maintains that the savings took advantage of its blindness of birds and said that Eagly is a duck. Anyway, Economic’s work seems to be at risk, not to mention the collapse of his loyalty to his friendAnd he is awarded a new partner in Judomaster, with which it is not excited to spend time.
With another dimensional gap, Chris becomes the top priority of Argus, in particular because of the similarities with the recent “Metropolis incident”, which refers Superman. Bordeaux hires not only Red St. Wild to take care of Eagly, but she gives the order to bring Chris to life if possible, and died if they must, while sending all the agents of the region to his house. The episode ends with a cliffhanger while Chris returns home to find Argus converging in his accommodatione, Ready for a fight. Although Argus is not part of the main action this time, the tension is built, setting up a confrontation for the next episode.
