Australian Ashleigh Gardner’s wife Monica Wright on Monday criticized security arrangements in India. The cricketer’s wife posted on her Instagram story showing the couple sitting in a taxi and two police officers posing behind the couple’s taxi.
The post was posted on Instagram with the caption “Police escort to cafe.”
This happened after the two were meant to take a taxi to a part of Mumbai when they were on their way to a cafe. The couple posed for the camera; However, the caption was a funny joke from the Australian about the safety of women in India.
Cricket Australia also confirmed the alleged assault of its female cricketers, and the two women only had to be saved thanks to the intervention of security guard, Danny Simmons, after the players shared a live venue.
Indian batter ruled out of entire World Cup ahead of semi-final against Australia
India opener Pratika Rawal suffered a serious ankle sprain in the match against Bangladesh, which ruled her out of the entire World Cup as the BCCI medical team deemed the ankle injury serious enough.

In the absence of the skipper, Tahila McGrath continues to lead the Australians. They will be aiming for their eighth World Cup title.
