Offensive Player of the Week
Senior quarterback Mason Atkins propels West Aurora to a 46-7 victory over crosstown rival East Aurora, completing 10 of 13 passes for 153 yards and four touchdowns. The Ball State recruit also rushed six times for 81 yards and two touchdowns.
Defensive Player of the Week
Senior receiver/defensive back Dominic Klimpke totaled 105 receiving yards and made the defensive play of the game for Aurora Christian, knocking down a 2-point conversion pass attempt late in the game to preserve a 28-27 win over Wheaton Academy.
