The former singer of Danity Kane, Aubrey O’Day, will not take the position in the high-level federal trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs, she told TJ Holmes and Amy Robach in the first episode of a new podcast on the trial.
The 41 -year -old artist, who has become famous on MTV Make the group Under the directives of Diddy, had made an Instagram post of May 14 which, according to some, alluded to a possible appearance before the court during the Diddy trial.
She posted a video from New York with the legend: “Hey New York !!! where you think I should go first?” She added an emoji to the weighing scale, generally associated with justice.
Despite the position and previous reports that she had been assigned to appear, people can confirm that O’Day will not testify, because she has not been assigned by the accusation or the defense. “”
In the first episode of IHEART radio Amy Robach & TJ Holmes presents: Aubrey O’Day, covering the Diddy trialO’Day said to Holmes: “No, I’m not here to testify for the Diddy trial, whom I know.” She continued by saying that she “had been contacted by Homeland Security” and “had a meeting with Homeland Security”.
“I posted on my Instagram that I was here in New York and that I had fun because I clearly meant everyone that I do not testify here,” said O’Day.
People have contacted internal security but have not heard.
Combs, 55, pleaded not guilty to several federal accusations, including racketeering and sex trafficking. He was arrested in September 2024 and was currently detained without deposit at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. If he is found guilty, he risks a prison sentence with potential life.
Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, a former girlfriend of Combs, has already made bombs declarations in her testimony during the trial.
On May 13, Ventura described a relationship marked by emotional violence and coercion. She told court that she had participated in sexual parties – called “Freak offs” – because she “loved her so much”.
His testimony resumed the next day with a detailed report of the 2016 incident captured in the hotel surveillance images, published later publicly by CNN.
Ventura had previously filed a civil complaint against Combs, alleging rape and physical violence. Although the case was settled for $ 20 million, it led to a wave of allegations that now underlie the current criminal investigation.
The trial, which started with opening declarations on May 12, is expected to last several weeks.
Combs denies all allegations.
More episodes of Aubrey O’Day, covering the Diddy trial will be published throughout the trial.
