Astros is waiting for a word on Yordan Alvarez while the Rangers series continues

The Astros of Houston can only hope that life without Yordan Alvarez is also going on day 2 as day 1 when they are looking for a second consecutive victory on the Texas Rangers visiting Tuesday evening.
Having already missed 100 games with a fractured right hand, Alvarez slipped on the marble while marking the first base on a simple first round which led to an error to launch by the launcher of the Rangers Jack Leiter on Monday.
Alvarez drink significantly at the canoe, struggled to negotiate the steps of the descent, then went to the clubhouse rather than back to the left field when the Astros took the ground for the second round.
After Houston finished a 6-3 victory, Alvarez signaled to journalists on the way to the exit, using crutches with his left foot in a boot. Astros later announced that he would take an MRI exam on Tuesday.
This does not question its availability for the rest of the series – the whole of three games ends on Wednesday – but also potentially the confrontation of three games with the Seattle Mariners from Friday in Houston.
Astros (82-69) will take the ground on Tuesday at half a game behind the navy of first place (82-68) in the American League West. Houston in turn has an advantage of three games on the Rangers (79-72) in a multi-team duel for the Wild Card Final.
The astros took place transparently after the departure of Alvarez, moving Jesus Sanchez from the right field to the left field and inserting Zach Cole on the right.
The two made a beautiful imitation of Alvarez. Cole contributed a two -point circuit and a simple RBI to victory, while Sanchez doubled, marked a race and killed Johah Heim to the marble by trying to mark the race for equality in the seventh round.
“It is good to manage there, putting this young man (Cole) in the programming,” said Astros Manager Joe Espada laughing at his post-match press conference. “Jesus Christ. He plays (Tuesday).”
If Sanchez returns to the external position of Alvarez in the revenge on Tuesday, he would face a familiar rival in Merrill Kelly of Texas (12-7, 3.21 ERA). The former national leaguers are duel 14 times, Sanchez having only 2 for 12 with a home run.
Victor Caratini is 4-in-12 against Kelly, while Cole, who only played four games in the league, has never seen the right-wing veteran.
Acquired in Arizona Diamondbacks in July, Kelly went 3-1 with a 3.19 MPM in eight departures since he joined Texas. The Rangers won the last four games he started, including a 4-3 and 12 round victory against astros on September 5, when Kelly gave only one point in seven-rounds.
The 36-year-old went 0-1 despite an MPM of 0.93 in three career starts against the Astros.
Another launcher having a success for life against his Tuesday opponent is the right-hander of Astros Cristian Javier (1-3, 4.78 ERA). It is 6-1 with an MPM of 3.71 in 15 games, including 11 departures, against the Rangers.
The 28 -year -old will only make his seventh start of the season after missing more than a year due to Tommy John’s surgery. During his last two outings, he gave four points each time against New York Yankees on September 4, when he finished after 4 1/3 innings, and the Blue Jays de Toronto on Thursday when he lasted six sleeves.
The two teams missing from key players at the worst time possible, including the combination of Texas in the middle of the field of Marcus Semien and Corey Seager, the manager of the Rangers Bruce Bochy just hopes that his team will have the best depth.
“It is important that everyone does something to help,” he said. “Not just one or two guys.
