“You know why they’re rooting for you over there? If you could survive against those morons, so can they…” Paramount has released the second official trailer for the sci-fi action film The running manthe next new Edgar Wright film after Last night in Soho in 2021. Landing in theaters in November – in exactly one month. Based on the 1982 novel by Stephen King (under his pseudonym Richard Bachman), this is the second adaptation of the book after this ’80s film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Set in a dystopian future, a game show called “The Running Man” features people being chased by murderous hunters around the world to earn money. Ben Richards is ready to go the distance in this ultimate game of life and death… This new 2025 version features Glen Powell like Ben, with Katy O’Brian, Daniel Esdras, Karl Glusmann, Josh Brolin, Lee Pace, Jayme Lawson, Michael Cera, Emilie Jones, William H. Macy, David Zayas, Sean HayesAnd Colman Domingo. This is the best trailer yet! Looks like it’s awesome! All the explosive traps set up in the house seen at the end of this trailer seem so fun and ridiculous. I really hope Powell wins the game.
