Glamorgan Patter Asa Tribe was selected by Paarl Royals during the auction of the SA20 League.
The 21 -year -old selection occurs the same day that he struck his double century in first -class cricket for Glamorgan against Northampothire.
Earlier this year, the tribe struck three centuries in the space of a week for Jersey in the Ligue du Chect ICC against Papua New Guinea.
Tribe will be linked with the Royals for the South African competition, which takes place from the day after Christmas until January 25, 2026.
