We are delighted to announce that Ghost of Yōtei comes on PS5 on October 2, 2025!
We have shipped Ghost of Tsushima for almost five years, and meanwhile we worked hard to make Yōtei’s ghost something special. Although the stories are not linked, it is important for us to make a good follow -up of Jin’s trip, and we can’t wait for you to live the quest for revenge later this year.
In addition to today’s news, we have also published our latest trailer for Ghost of Yōtei, “The onryō list”. Sixteen years ago in the heart of Ezo (called Hokkaido nowadays), a gang of outlaw known as Yōtei Six took everything from Atsu. They killed his family and left him for dead, pinned to a Ginkgo tree on fire outside his house. But Atsu survived. She learned to fight, kill and hunt, and after years, she returned to her house with a list of six names: the snake, the oni, the kitsune, The Spider, the Dragon and Lord Saito.
One by one, she hunts them to avenge her family, armed with the same Katana, the habit of pinning it to this burning tree all these years ago. But while the story of Atsu begins with revenge, she will find that there is more in her trip than revenge. While exploring Ezo, the ATSU will meet improbable allies and links that help give it a new meaning of the objective.

We hope that the brief looks of today’s trailer give you a taste of what you can expect from Ghost of Yōtei. Beyond your first overview of Yōtei Six, you will find some of the magnificent landscapes of Ezo as well as a handful of new ATSU weapons, some of its allies and even a new gameplay mechanic that will allow you to erase the past of Atsu and understand everything that has been removed.
But we only scraped the surface. In Ghost of Yōtei, we built ourselves on and evolve the way you explore the open world, offering even more freedom and variety than in Ghost of Tsushima. You will choose the wicks to follow when you choose the Yōtei Six member you want to track down. ATSU can also follow other dangerous targets and claim bonuses, or search for Sensei weapons to acquire new skills. Ezo is wild and as dead as beautiful. As you browse the world open, you will find unexpected dangers and peaceful problems (including certain Tsushima return activities), and you can build a campfire anywhere in the open world to rest under the stars. We want you to have the freedom to explore Ezo, but you decide to do it, and we can’t wait to share more.

Today, we can also reveal that the pre-orders of Ghost of Yōtei are starting next week, May 2 at 10:00 am in your local time zone (10:00 am for those of the United States), and you can choose between different editions, including our incredible collector’s edition.

First of all, if you pre -order an edition of Ghost of Yōtei, you will receive a unique mask at stake, as well as a set of seven PSN avatars with the conceptual art of Atsu and each member of Yōtei Six at launch1. Pre -orders on PlayStation Store will immediately receive avatars.

The Digital Deluxe edition includes a digital copy of Ghost of Yōtei Plus bonuses at stake, including the serpent’s armor, as well as an alternative color for your starting armor. This excited edition includes all pre -order bonuses, all the articles at the game of the Digital Deluxe edition and a digital copy of the game3as well as an edition replica display of the Atsu ghost mask. The mask is built on the scale with the Jin mask of the publishing of our ghost of Tsushima Collector. If you have both, they look super side by side on a shelf! The mask measures 6.8 x 5 x 5.9 inches and is in resin, the more its own display stand.
A replica of the ATSU belt is also included, with the names of the six members of Yōtei Six (but you will have to cross them yourself). The belt measures 71 inches long and is made of a cotton mixture, a perfect cosplay accessory or a wall decoration.
