Arsenal Manager Arteta on the new front three against Liverpool

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta admitted that he may have to line up a brand new front three in Liverpool in the Grand Match of the Premier League on Sunday in Anfield.

The Gunners are already suffering on the injury front at the start of this season, Arteta stressing that he is without the three Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus for this match.

When asked during his press conference on the way Arsenal could line up in Liverpool, Arteta admitted that this might have to mean that three players playing together who have never played together before.

The first three probables seem to be Viktor Gyokerres, Noni Madueke and Ebelechi Eze, and Arteta admitted that it would probably be something that the team had never done before.

“We don’t have Gabriel Jesus, we don’t have Kai Havertz, we didn’t have Bukayo Saka. This is our reality, and Leandro Trossard,” the Spanish tactician told journalists.

“It is therefore a reality what we have, and we will have to find something, and probably something that we have not done before. And it can also work very well.

“Yes, I fully trust them, yes.”

It was difficult last year for Arsenal with injuries, with Saka, Havertz and Jesus who also lack a large part of last season, while other big names like Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Magalhaes and Ben White also missed many games.
