Arsenal is “electric” 49 million pounds sterling star a priority target
If there is one thing Arsenal needs to add to their team this summer, they are goals.
The Mikel Arteta team ended as the Premier League finalists this year for the third time in so many campaigns, and although they produced the best defense of the competition, they scored 17 less than Liverpool placed.
So, it is not a surprise to see the Gunners so strongly linked to Viktor Gyokerres recently, while the Swedish international managed to score 54 goals in 52 games for the sports CP this season.
The former Coventry City star would be an incredible addition to the Arsenal team, and the good news is that, on the basis of recent reports, they could be about to sign a large attacker who would be a dream teammate for him.
Arsenal winger search
Before arriving at the player in question, it is worth looking at some of the other talented wingers who have been linked to Arsenal in recent weeks and months, such as Kenan Yıldız and Rafael Leao.
The first could cost around 68 million pounds sterling and would certainly be an investment for the future, because if the 20 -year -old had a good season with Juventus this year, he was not exactly unplayable, accumulating nine goals and seven assists in 48 games for the old lady.
Leao was a little more effective than the young person, scoring 12 goals and providing 13 assists in 50 appearances for AC Milan, but with a price of at least 84 million pounds sterling, it could well be out of reach.
Fortunately, another exciting international was strongly linked to the club, someone who would cost much less than Portuguese AS and could form a brilliant partnership with Gyokerres: Nico Williams.
Yes, according to a recent report by the expert in transfers Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal is always incredibly interested in the star of Bilbao Sportive.
In fact, Romano says that Spaniard is now at the “top” of the list of Gunners targets, although he also revealed that the German giants in Bayern Munich are just as interested.
The Italian journalist reaffirms that the dynamic winger has a liberation clause in his current contract worth 58 million euros, which amounts to around 49 million pounds sterling, and that his wage requests could be a collision point.
It seems that it could be a complicated and rather expensive transfer to overcome the line, but given the immense capacity and the potential of Williams, it is worth fighting, especially since it could be unreal with Gyokerres.
Why Williams would be incredible for Gyokerres
Now, although there are probably many reasons why Williams could be an incredible teammate for Gyokerres, two have priority and the first is his production.
Since the start of season 23/24, the “electric” Spaniard, as nicknamed by Statman Dave, has scored 19 goals and has provided 25 assists in 82 appearances, which comes out of a brilliant average of an attack on the objectives every 1.86 games.
So imagine how someone who has accumulated 97 goals and 28 assists in 102 games in the last two seasons could be with the Dynamo de Bilbao on his left, then Bukayo Saka on his right.

Not only would he have chance after chance created for him, but he would also likely see his own total aid.
The second reason why the star born in Pamplona will be so useful for the old Braconnier Coventry is that it is incredibly direct and efficient to face his opposite number.
For example, the FBREF places it in the 2% higher fields of field environments and attacking wingers in Europe for successful sockets and the highest 7% for gradual ranges by 90, which will require defenders to focus more on it, leaving space for other attackers of North Londoners to exploit.
In the end, Williams is an undeniably talented and dynamic winger who will be an exceptional teammate for Gyokerers, thanks to his production and his ability to terrify the defenders.
Consequently, even if its salary requests are high and competition is fierce, Arsenal should do everything they can to sign it this summer.
