Arsenal has an “ enthusiasm ” for the challenge of disturbing PSG in the semi-finals of the Champions League

The arsenal of Mikel Arteta has a “huge enthusiasm” to take the opportunity to make the story against the Saint-Germain of Paris despite their semi-final advance in the semi-final in the Champions League which dragged 1-0 on aggregate.
The Gunners were the second best in the first stage of the Emirates stadium and were late in the fourth minute of a strike by Ousmane Dembele.
It could have been worse for Arsenal if Bradley Barcola and Goncalo Ramos had taken a clear chances for PSG late.
But the task facing Arteta’s men at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday is still worrying.
Indeed, only two teams reached the Champions League final after losing the first stage of the semi-final at home. Ajax was the first against Panathinaikos in 1995-1996, Tottenham becoming the second of its incredible last year match with Ajax in 2018-2019.
However, Arteta insists that Arsenal savor the challenge of trying to imitate their rivals from northern London trying to become the third team to achieve this feat.
“Huge enthusiasm, enormous energy,” said Arteta when he asked about the belief in the camp.
“We are a victory far from being the semi -final of the Champions League, in one of the most beautiful cities in the world against a great opponent – it is not much better than that.

“We are here to make history, and we have a great opportunity tomorrow. We bring a result that gives us so much clarity on what we have to do. Lots of learning the first step, and the small margin between the two teams.
“The result, in my opinion, should have been very different from it. So tomorrow, another opportunity to prove it and gain the right to be in the final.”
“To win the Champions League final, you have to do something exceptional throughout the tournament.
“We have done a lot of great things, but tomorrow in Paris, against this team is the time to do so. And we will raise the level of this team and start making history. This is an opportunity that we have before us to do it. ”
Arteta revealed that the lateral Jurrien Timber rear will assess its fitness after missing the defeat of the Premier League last Saturday against Bournemouth with a blow.
Timber trained on Tuesday, just like his colleague Riccardo Calafiori, who has not played since March due to a knee injury under an international function.
Asked about the availability of Calafiori, Arteta said: “He has traveled, and he is in good shape and he is ready to play when we need him. It is therefore excellent news.”
