Arsenal gave “less than 2% chance” to sign Alexander Isak

The hopes of Arsenal to win one of their best attackers’ objectives this summer took a significant blow, the BBC journalist, Sami Mokbel, declaring that the Gunners “less than 2%” conclude the agreement during this transfer window.
Mikel Arteta and sports director Andrea Berta is actively looking for a new central center to add a clinical advantage to the team before the new Premier League season, Arsenal determined to rely on their solid campaign.
However, the Gunners have still failed to win a major trophy under Arteta and they are ready to take a step for a tested attacker this summer to make it a dreaded attacking force next season.
Arsenal is unlikely to sign Alexander Isak
The club in northern London has been linked to a decision for the Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak for some time.
However, Mokbel’s last update gave little hope to the Gunners to sign the Swedish international striker.
Mokbel, speaking on the Latte firm show, provided the update:
“I think the ideal scenario for Mikel Arteta is to get Alexander Isak. I think we somehow know that there is probably less than 2% chance that it happens, if that, simply because of the pure numbers involved.
“If you are going for Isak, next season could be the season when you have the opportunity, when he has two years on his contract.
“But then, I saw reports yesterday in the northeast that they were trying to take it to a new contract, so that, you know, we will see on this subject.”
The search for attackers has become one of the main priorities of the club, with concerns that despite the impressive attacks of attack last season, the absence of a nine coherent clinic could finally hinder Arsenal in the biggest games.
The artillerymen have several names on their restricted list

Arteta wants to add an attacker who can complete the tastes of Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli while offering a reliable presence and marking objectives inside the box.
Mokbel’s news will be a disappointment for many Arsenal supporters who hoped for a marquee attacker who signed this summer to finish the Arteta attack puzzle.
Isak, who is also prosecuted by Liverpool this summer, was described as “ruthless” by the manager of the Magpies Eddie Howe.
The Gunners are always interested in Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig and Viktor Gyokerres de Sporting.
If one of them could join the Gunners this summer, Arteta and the Arsenal fans will be more than satisfied with the addition.
Update: Arsenal always works on two exciting transfers as a complicated situation revealed
