Arsenal would have had up to seven big names on their list of winger transfer objectives this summer, including premier league stars such as Ebelechi Eze and Morgan Rogers.
The attackers of Crystal Palace and Aston Villa appear on a list alongside English colleagues Anthony Gordon and Noni Madueke, Newcastle and Chelsea, respectively.
According to Times, there are also targets based abroad, in the form of Rodrygo Goes from Real Madrid, Nico Williams de Bilbao and Igor Paixaao de Feyenoord.
Arsenal fans will know a lot about the big names like Eze, Rodrygo and Williams, but Peaceao probably resembles the discovery gem on this list.
How is the transfer objectives of the Arsenal winger compared?
Paixao, 24, shone during his stay at Eredivisie, even if he has not yet won a senior ceiling for the Brazilian national team.
Taken into account Also pointed out that Peaceao was on Arsenal’s radar, while Liverpool and Tottenham would also have examined the player, who finished last season with a total of 18 goals and 14 assists in all competitions.
See below for the figures that these players made in all competitions in 2024/25…
| Player | Games | Goals | Aid |
| Back seat | 51 | 15 | 11 |
| Morgan Rogers | 60 | 14 | 12 |
| Rodrygo goes | 68 | 16 | 8 |
| Nico Williams | 54 | 15 | 9 |
| Anthony Gordon | 51 | 10 | 6 |
| Call Maduyke | 50 | 11 | 6 |
| Passion Igor | 47 | 18 | 14 |
These are all quite impressive numbers and could surely make arsenal more a threat of attack next season – an area in which they underwent in 2024/25.
AFC fans will undoubtedly have their own favorites from the above list, but there are clearly stylistic differences with these players.
Eze and Rogers can also play in the center, which could be a useful option for Mikel Arteta, while Rodrygo can also work as an attacker.
Paixao has the best figures overall, but has played in a lower league than the others, and Arsenal could also think that the experience of the Premier League is worth paying a little more.
