The expert Arsenal FC, Charles Watts, weighed with his information on the interest of the transfer of the Gunners in the midfielder of Seville Lucien Agoume.

The 23 -year -old impressed in Liga and was mentioned as a target for Arsenal and Manchester United, according to my recent daily briefing report here.

Addressing Watts about the AGOUME links as part of his latest daily briefing column, the journalist admitted that the French international under 21 was probably someone who was supervised.

For the moment, it may seem difficult to know with certainty if the giants of northern London will soon make movements for Agoume, but it could make sense as an option in the longer term than Christian Norgaard in this position.

Discussing Agoume and Arsenal, Watts said: “Lucien Agoume is a player who continues to be linked to Arsenal.

“He is a player they watched in summer, but in the end, they moved to that Christian Norgaard filled the hole left in the team by the departure of Jorginho.

“Now it is clear that Norgaard is not a long -term solution. It was an experienced midfielder who was brought to replace the experience and leadership that Jorginho brought to the team.

“So, someone like Agoume will remain on the radar. He will appear on a list of young midfielders that the club has prepared as it keeps its options open in terms of refreshing its midfielder in the next two years.”

Arsenal had a little joy with the signatures of La Liga

In recent times, we have seen Arsenal having a lot of joy with their signatures which came from the Liga.

A few years ago, Martin Odegaard joined Real Madrid and Thomas Partey joined Atletico Madrid, and the two became important players.

More recently, there was also Martin Zubimenddi, Mikel Merino and Cristhian Mosquera, so maybe Gégoume makes sense as a type of profile that they would then consider.
