Arsenal confirms the signing of Piero Hincapie from Bayer Leverkusen

Arsenal announced the signature of defender Bayer Leverkusen Piero Hincie.
The International Equat has signed a long -term contract with the Gunners in an agreement that could overshadow 50 million pounds sterling.
Having already added people like Viktor Gyokerres and Ebelechi Eze this summer, the Gunners added another solid tool to their side before the season.
Hincapie played 166 appearances in all the competitions for Leverkusen after participating in 2021 and was part of the Xabi Alons team who won the Bundesliga and the German Cup.
Speaking about his new addition, head coach Mikel Arteta said: “Piero has a real physical presence, with his versatility and tactical flexibility giving us strong additional defensive options.
“He is a great character, with a very good combination of young people and maturity. He will make our team stronger and more competitive than we are pursuing this season.”
Oleksandr Zinchenko also left the club alongside Jakub Kiwior, which means that Hincie will challenge immediately for a place in the departure XI.
