Arsenal come into contact with Crystal Palace to sign Ebelechi Eze

Arsenal has shown a strong interest in the star of Crystal Palace Ebelechi Eze as they seek to strengthen their attack options before the new season.
Mikel Arteta wishes to add another creative player capable of operating between the lines, and the profile of Eze is perfectly part of the arsenal system.
With Arsenal to compete on several fronts, including another first League title and a champions league campaign, depth and creativity in attack have become a priority.
Arsenal Make: Small size
Arsenal made its first approach to explore a potential agreement for Eze, leaving Tottenham the rivals of Premier League in the race to sign the international in England, according to Givemesport.
Eze has a liberation clause of 68 million pounds sterling in his Crystal Palace contract, and although Palace is eager to keep it, the interest of Arsenal would have turned the head of the player, the English international now aware that a move to the Emirates could represent an important step in his career.
Competition in the Champions League and the challenge for domestic honors under Arteta could prove to be a strong lure, because Eze considers its next steps.
Although securing a new new number remains a priority for Arsenal this summer, the club also focuses on adding more creativity and versatility to their large options.
The injuries to Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka last season clearly indicated that the Gunners need more depth in their team and Eze could be the player to provide this.
He is a versatile player who can play in a number of different positions and Arteta has a particular resemblance to these players.

Tottenham is also admirers of Eze, but the rapid arsenal movement to initiate contact could give them an advantage in what could become a Northern London transfer battle in the coming weeks.
Although the Gunners were strongly linked to a movement for Rodrygo of Real Madrid, they could not break through in their quest for the Brazilian.
The attention has now moved to Eze which looks like a more feasible option at the moment.
The manager of the palace, Oliver Glasner, praised Eze as an “incredible” player.
