Arsenal seeks to improve their attack unit with the signature of Nico Williams of the Athletic Club Bilbao during the summer transfer window.
According to a Sky Sports report, Arsenal provides for a “big” summer with regard to transfers, and they identified the 22 -year -old as a target. The Sky Sports report adds that Chelsea also likes the player.
Williams has established himself as a key player in the club and the country. He has 18 contributions to objectives last season. There is no doubt that it would be an excellent acquisition for Arsenal and Chelsea. He was described as a “world class” player, and he could be a long -term asset for the two clubs.
Williams was also linked to Liverpool.
Arsenal could use the attack depth
It will be interesting to see if Arsenal presents an offer to sign it. They need an upgrade on Gabriel Martinelli, who was quite disappointing last season.
Williams will add the pace, the flair and the goals of the left side. It is quite versatile to also operate on the right side of the attack.
The opportunity to move to the Premier League could be exciting for the player.
Chelsea could use Nico Williams
Similarly, Chelsea is one of the biggest clubs in the world and they obtained qualification in the Champions League. They will be an attractive destination for most players, and it remains to be seen if the Spanish international wishes to join them.
Arsenal and Chelsea must improve their attack unit if they want to fight for major trophies next season. Williams will add an unpredictability essential to their attack unit. He is still quite young and he will only improve with coaching and experience. He could become a leading leading attacker with good advice.
