Arizona Cardinals to play Kyler Murray and other beginners in pre-season with Kansas City chiefs

The quarter-arrier Kyler Murray is expected to start for Arizona’s cardinals during the pre-season match on Saturday against the Kansas City chiefs.

It is a break in the standard for Arizona – and NFL in general – with regular starters normally kept away, or in a short time, in warm -up games.

But the cardinals think that Murray and several other great players would benefit from a certain time on the field as they seek to improve on arrival 8-9 of last year in the NFC West.

“I think it’s the best thing for our team this year, honestly,” said coach Jonathan Gannon. “I think we are at a good time with our health. We are at a good time with our development and I think it’s this year with our team this year. It’s the best thing to do for our guys. “

The plan is not settled in stone – the coach of the cardinals Gannon

None of Arizona’s runners played in pre-season last year, apart from the recruit of the time Marvin Harrison Jr. Murray has not played warm-up matches for four years.

“We have obtained a plan, but that will not be engraved in stone before the next three days occur,” said Gannon. “Just because you don’t know what’s going to happen these three days. The health of your team goes there too, but you have a kind of plan in mind.

“But it can also honestly change the world of the game. I feel good, however.

“I want to see us working, make sure we do the right things. And, once again, we do not plan the game. We are not going to Gameplan Kansas City or Denver or Vegas, so it’s really a bit of us and make sure that we learn from these representatives.

“Everyone, not just those – both and the three too.”

It’s good for us, says Wr Jones

The large receiver Zay Jones supported the idea and says that he is delighted to go out on the field this weekend.

“I think it is good for us to go out and live something live, to go against someone else other than your own team and to have these competitive representatives and to be able to assess it afterwards and then see:” OK, where are we as a position group, as a unit, as a team, what should we improve? “” Said Jones.

“And it will be exciting for other guys to have the opportunity to also present their capacities.”
