Are you looking for a Chatppt? Bing begs you to use Copilot

Stop us if you’ve heard that: Microsoft encourages you not to visit its competitors. The last category? Ai.
You may have noticed that if you visit Bing.com, then search for Google, Microsoft could remind you that it also has a search engine. More recently, Microsoft now encourages you to stay in its ecosystem and to use Copilot instead of venturing elsewhere towards Google, Openai or Meta.
During the search for “Claude” in Microsoft Edge – I use Edge with Bing Set on his search engine – I tried to look for “Claude”, the AI tool developed by Anthropic. While Bing conscientiously returned the link as well as the related information, this also reminded me that “your co -pilot is here”, accompanied by a research area specific to the co -pilot.
Windows discovered that these banners are injected by Bing.com, rather than pointing itself.

At this point, I expect Microsoft to shout practically, Wait, wait, don’t go! Before moving away from his digital property.
We can see evidence that, collectively, Microsoft’s tactics work. Last week, Microsoft announced results for its fourth tax quarter. These results included a 21% increase in research and advertising income on news outside the traffic acquisition fees, which represents a substantial increase compared to last year. Microsoft does not really have fun how this number in various growth drivers, but we can assume that each little bit counts: advertisements in Copilot, research advertisements themselves, widgets, etc.
It should also be remembered that while the Openai Chatppt crushes the competition in terms of user session traffic, Copilot made a surprising overvoltage in second place in May. Although this may be due to certain inconsistencies in the tracking numbers, it is also possible that the integration of Microsoft Copilot into Windows and various tactics to try to keep them there – like this! – bear fruit.
It is simply difficult to say if Microsoft is people who deceive people to use it, however, or to convince them to stay.
