Are you buying the new iPhone Air? Disable this setting on your old device

The iPhone Air is Apple’s sleek new phone that the company announced at its “awesome” event on September 9, and you can buy the new phone right now. But before you upgrade, Apple suggests you disable Find My on your old iPhone.
Apple’s Find My app can help you locate your luggage in a busy airport, find a single missing AirPod, and make sure you know where all your devices are. Disabling Find My on an iPhone before giving it away disables its Activation Lock feature. This feature could prevent other people from using the device, so it’s a great solution if your iPhone is stolen or someone else has it. However, if you give your iPhone to a friend, Activation Lock might prevent them from using your old device. Fortunately, you can disable Find My in a few simple steps.
