Season 2 of season 2 of James Gunn alludes to major links with the Superman suite

Spoilers For “Peacemaker” season 2, episode 1 follow.
Can we expect to see Superman (David Corenswet) appear in season 2 of “Peacemaker”? All right, technically, He has already done so in the revised summary of season 1, but he was kept in the shadows and almost certainly played by a replacement. Anyway, the director of “Superman” and the creator of “Peacemaker” James Gunn broadcasts the link between them. (He factAve John Cena Cameo as a peacemaker in “Superman”.) In an Instagram publication encouraging his supporters to consult season 2 of “Peacemaker”, Gunn described the program to prequest “Man of Tomorrow ‘” by referring to him “Superman” just announced.
Look, Gunn is almost certainly I’m just doing a Wisecrack here. Compare this when the comic book writer Deniz Camp joked on Twitter that people needed to read his book Marvel, “The Ultimates”, to understand Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom in the Marvel cinematographic universe – and then many have set up more gullible camp words.
Gunn probably says that it is a prequel “Man of Tomorrow” “because he wants to rely on the excitement of the announcement of” Man of Tomorrow “and channel part of this excitement towards” Peacemaker “. As a co-head of DC Studios, Gunn wants and must ensure that the continuous franchise of the early momentum that it is built with “Superman”. Building a whole comic strip universe is not only your work; It is his passionate project.
At the same time, however, I find that it is unlikely that it will get the story of “Man of Tomorrow” on a television series that many audiences will not watch. Gunn highlighted a decentralized narrative structure for the DCU in the past as well; Less like the MCU, more like “Star Wars”, in Gunn’s own words.
But by putting all this aside, what links (if necessary) with “Superman” will there be in season 2 of “Peacemaker”?
How much can we expect in season 2 Peacemaker?
So far, season 2 of “Peacemaker” has mainly focused on the peaceful. Even if Mr. Christopher Smith has helped save the world from an extraterrestrial invasion in season 1, he is always an emotional mess that respects little. The feelings of Chris of Auto-Haine worsened when he enters a parallel universe where his brother Keith (David Denman) and his father Auggie (Robert Patrick) are still alive. In this world, Smiths are not a dysfunctional family with a neonazi patriarch; They are a beloved father and a trio of fighting the crime of the sons. Until Chris accidentally kills his alternative self from this universe.
Season 2 of “Peacemaker” largely resembles Gunn’s twisted rotation on “is a wonderful life”. Rather than George Bailey (James Stewart) seeing a world without him who is worse, Chris can see a world where none of his regrets exists … But living it would mean living a lie.
However,, Hawkgirl (Isabela Merced) and Green Lantern (Nathan Fillion) of Gang Justice appeared in the first of season 2 of season 2 of “Peacemaker”, relying on their beginnings in “Superman”. As part of Peacemaker’s humiliation chain, he interviews for the gang of justice, and they don’t even give him a chance. Gunn, however, teased that the last three episodes of season 2 of “Peacemaker” are something really special. Is it because they will bring more important DC characters?
A fans theory is that we will see Lex Luthor (Nicholas Hoult) in one of these last three episodes this season. When Lex is transported at the end of “Superman”, the guards ostensibly mention that he goes to a good dream. It is the prison managed by Amanda Waller (Viola Davis), and where Peacemaker himself was locked up in the back during “The Suicide Squad”.
Lex returns to “Man of Tomorrow”, so if he appears in this program for a moment, it could technically make season 2 of “Peacemaker” in a prequel to the film.
“Peacemaker” is streaming on HBO Max.
