Check out the companies that made headlines before the opening bell: Applied Digital — Shares jumped 30% after the data center builder reported revenue in its fiscal first quarter was up 84% from the comparable period a year earlier. Stellantis — The French-Italian-American automaker reported a 13% rise in third-quarter deliveries, helping its shares gain 1.3% in premarket trading. The increase in shipments was driven by new models and North American demand, a sign of a recovery in activity after several quarters of declining sales. Synchrony Financial — Financial services stock rose 1% on HSBC’s upgrade to buy from hold. HSBC called the stock a preferred choice in consumer credit. Alibaba — Shares of the Chinese e-commerce giant fell nearly 2% in a massive sell-off in China overnight. The stock is on track to experience its sixth consecutive negative session. Doximity — The medical digital platform saw its shares fall nearly 5% after JPMorgan downgraded the stock from neutral to underweight. The Wall Street firm pointed to valuation issues, a competitive landscape and risks related to ad spending on digital pharmaceuticals. Mosaic — The chemicals stock fell more than 9% after the company reported disappointing preliminary third-quarter volumes. Mosaic said it encountered unexpected mechanical problems at the Riverview sulfuric acid plant and utility interruptions in Bartow in mid-September, which resulted in a significant decline in overall production for the remainder of the month. Levi Strauss — The denim clothing maker fell more than 7% after issuing weaker-than-expected profit guidance for the fourth quarter. Levi Strauss expects fourth-quarter earnings of between 36 and 38 cents per share.
