Apple CEO, Tim Cook, has a special gold gift to Donald Trump

On Wednesday, at the White House, the CEO of Apple presented President Donald Trump a gift to commemorate the announcement of the Apple America manufacturing program.
The gift is a piece of glass registered with an Apple logo dug in the center. The glass, which came “out of the corning line”, according to Cook, presents the signature of Tim Cook and is in a base which, according to Cook, is “gold at 24 karat”. The gift was designed by a former American sea corporal who is now an Apple employee, and is a “unique unit of one”.
Cook was in the White House to announce “a new $ 100 billion commitment to America”, according to an Apple press release. The new investment comes after Apple announced in February an investment of $ 500 billion in the United States – it is all the American spending of the company and not only manufacturing – over the next four years.
Apple American’s manufacturing program “will accelerate manufacturing in the United States” with several partners, including Broadcom, Corning, Coherent, Texas Instruments and Samsung. With these partnerships, Apple is on the right track to produce more than 19 billion chips for its products in 2025.
Apple has several installations under construction or expansion, including a Houston factory for Apple servers, a Data Center in North Carolina and a second Apple campus in Austin.
