Electronic musician Anyma published his third project, “The End of Genesys”, the closing chapter of his trilogy of melodic techno albums.
The album presents an assortment of appearances of artists guests, notably Grimes, Ellie Goulding, Yeat, Empire of the Sun’s Luke Steele, 070 Shake, Fknsyd and Sevdaliza.
“” The end of Genesys “is more than an album,” explains Anyma in a statement to Variety. “It is a reflection of everything I have built on the sound level and visually in recent years. It explores the intersection of technology and humanity, and what it means to evolve. This project marks a turning point and I look forward to the next one. ”
“The End of Genesys” arrives a few months after the Italian musician’s residence in the sphere of Las Vegas, where he became the first electronic musician to organize a series of shows. He announced the album at the end of the residence, a multisensory concert experience incorporating tailor -made visuals and advanced technology.
Speaking before Variety About her sphere residence, Anyma, whose real name is Matteo Milleri, said that the shows and her latest album “Genesys” were intended to close a creative chapter in his career. “It came to a saturation point,” he said. “When the ideas are recycled a little too much, I am the first to think, what is the next one? I want to go ahead. But I want to give it a very glorified end, because it was such an important part of my music and my life.”
Anyma published for the first time “Genuesys” in 2023 and her “Genesys II” suite the following year. Before making his debut as an Anyma in 2021, he was half the duo of us, establishing the Afterlife label. He will put the next scene a summer residence at Ibiza [UNVRS] Through eight shows, in addition to the appearances of the festival in Spain, Korea and Belgium.
