Ant Star Michael Douglas does not think he will come back to the MCU.
Douglas made his debut at the MCU as Hank Pym in Ant-Man in 2015. He then resumed the role in Ant-Man in 2018 and the Wasp and 2019 Avengers: Endgame before returning to Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania of 2023, which is the last time that MCU fans have seen his character.

Speaking with Deadline, Douglas was invited to want to resume his role as Hank another time for a future Marvel film.
“I do not think. I had the experience and I was delighted to do it. I had never made a green screen image before,” he replied. “I did the Kominsky method because I wanted to work with Chuck Lorre and try a comedy. But I appreciate my hiatus and I appreciate my life. It was overwhelming to direct the production company and act at the same time. ”
This means that Hank will probably not show up in the Avengers of Marvel Studios: Doomsday, which is currently in production and will be released in 2026; However, it was confirmed that Scott Lang / Ant-Man by Paul Rudd will be presented in the film.
Whether or not Avengers: Doomsday will mark the end of the MCU trip from the character of Rudd or if it will also come back for the rest of 2027, Avengers: Secret Wars, remains to be seen.
Douglas, meanwhile, recently played the role of Benjamin Franklin in an Apple TV + mini-series which was presented in April 2024 entitled Franklin. He and his son, Cameron Douglas, also filmed a dramatic film entitled Blood Knot, directed by Roberto Sneider. The film does not yet have a release date, because Douglas told Deadline that he “is currently looking for a distribution”.
