“My wealth is life.” Cinemas Regal and Blue Fox Ent. started another official trailer to celebrate the reissue in 2025 of this emblematic documentary entitled Marley About the Jamaican maestro reggae Bob Marley. Made by director Kevin Macdonald, the director opened in 2012 and obtained a nomination at BAFTA. He was also reissued in 2020 to celebrate Bob’s 75th anniversary (we also published a trailer at the time), but it was just in the middle of the pandemic summer. Now, it’s again for another round – playing in the country’s rooms in 2025 in honor of what would have been 80th birthday. Presenting rare images, performances never seen before and interviews with the family, friends and collaborators of Marley, Marley offers an intimate and complete look on the man behind music. The film explores its trip of the humble beginnings on Jamaica Island to become one of the most influential musicians of all time, broadcasting messages of love, unity, peace and resistance that continue to resonate in the whole world today.
