Two of the best home strike teams in baseball have not disappointed a pair of matches in mind

The Angels broke out for two-digit races and three circuits in an 11-9 victory against the Dodgers on Saturday when Logan O’Hoppe had a circuit and a record of five points produced in career. Taylor Ward and Matthew Lugo also struck circuits.

The victory won the first victory of the Angels at the Dodger Stadium since 2019 and the first three -game victory since 2012. It was only their second victory in the series in their last eight tests this season.

“It feels good when you are in an environment like this, and things are a little more emotional, when you go out with a victory like that,” said O’Hoppe. “But yes, we do not want to be surprised or higher on a victory that we are normally, so we will take the good and go to go.”

Kenley Jansen recorded a stop of four outings against his former club, his eighth. It was his second goalless outing against dodgers in two nights.

“It’s really emotional every time I walk on this mound,” said Jansen, who recorded 350 stops in 12 seasons with the Dodgers. “You know, the majority of my career is there, so I like to be on this mound again.”

The angels will send the left-hander Yusei Kikuchi (0-4, 3.72 ERA) to the mound. It is 1-2 with an MPM of 5.09 in four career starts against Dodgers.

Kikuchi will be opposed by the right-hander of the Dodgers, Tony Gonsolin (2-0, 2.81).

With the starters Dodgers Tyler Glasnow, Blake Snell and Roki Sasaki on the injured list, Gonsolin’s solid return from Tommy John surgery was a welcome show. In his three outings, he made at least five rounds each time.

Gonsolin succeeded in nine sticks to the stick at the start of the season on April 30 and gave only three strokes in a victory last Sunday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He has three career starts against the Angels, going 3-0 with an MPM of 3.79.

While the three Angels circuits moved them to fifth row of baseball with 62 this season, the Dodgers reached two Saturday and are second with 76, two behind the Yankees.

The clubs have seven circuits combined in the series, including one by Shohei Ohtani, who went deep against his former club on Friday and leads MLB with 16 circuits.

While the departure staff of the Dodgers deals with injuries, the enclosure of the Lights seemed to take another blow when the right-hander Kirby Yates left the match on Saturday with an injury to the hamstrings. The readers at the end of the Dodgers Michael Kopech, Evan Phillips and Blake Treinen round are already on the injured list.

“He felt it at a throw. The early evaluation is the first year,” said Dodgers manager Dave Roberts about Yates. “I do not see how it is not an Il who has just given hamstrings. But we will see how it happens (Sunday).”

After the first two games in his career, the recruiter recruited from the Dodgers, Dalton Rushing, succeeded in four strokes, two points produced and four points scored. There remains the backup of Will Smith, which leads all the sensors on average to the stick at 0.336.
