The director of Arsenal Sporting, Andrea Berta, is now looking to finalize a new contract for the Vedette central defender of William Saliba.
According to Taken into account Columnist Charles Watts in his latest exclusive chronicle for the daily briefing, Berta has been working there almost since he joined the club earlier this year.
Although it has not yet been 100%confirmed, an agreement is now understood, after sources have previously confirmed to us that Saliba and Bukayo Saka remained definitively.
Watts has now gave an overview of how Berta continued to work on a magic at Arsenal, after keeping stars names and added more with a strong summer transfer window.

“William Saliba agreed with a new long -term contract with Arsenal,” said Watts.
“It’s hard to really say how important it is for Arsenal. This is an absolute news and a massive and massive boost for the club.
“The discussions have been lasting for months now between the club and the Saliba representatives, the sports director Andrea Berta having really taken a good scope on the negotiations after her appointment in March.
“But they have really increased since the transfer window closed and now Berta and Arsenal have obtained the result they wanted.”
He added: “But with Real Madrid who is looming in the background, there was always a fear that it could become a problem that could walk and become a little distraction when his current contract began to drop.
“This is certainly what Madrid has missed and pushed.
“Saliba was in the last year of his agreement when he renewed the last time, so obtaining this sorted soon is simply huge for Arsenal.
“Now there is a distraction and no uncertainty.
“Berta and Mikel Arteta are well aware of the position of Saliba in the game and knew that he had to be rewarded by an agreement that corresponded to his reputation for one of the best central defenders in the world.”

Arsenal was characterized as a little soft touch on the back, and for many years, he had trouble winning the best talents from this position.
All this has changed now, however, with Saliba turning a great success since he joined the Gunners as a youngster in Saint-Etienne.
The French international had to wait a while before entering the first team, after being loaned three times before finally obtaining the head sign of Mikel Arteta during the 2022/23 season.
Saliba has never looked back and now fully deserves a new contract to keep it at Arsenal as a person they can build for many years to come.
