Amid ongoing controversy, Daniel Craig’s $758 million spy film is a global streaming hit

James Bond fandom was recently outraged following Amazon’s decision to add trigger warnings to all 25 films in the franchise. Warnings on several films include “violence, alcohol consumption, smoking and strong language”, as well as “nudity” and “sexual content”, although some more controversial moments in the franchise are apparently glossed over. While many are calling this decision “woke” and others admit that the decision has had no impact on their ability to watch the films, the one thing that can be agreed on is that it has brought even more attention to the 007 series, which is reflected in recent streaming rankings.

“No Time to Die” was a huge box office success
Although he ultimately did not achieve both Spectrum And Heavy rain, No time to die was still a huge success for the franchise, becoming the third highest-grossing entry to date behind the aforementioned pair. Produced with a reported budget of $250 million, the film tripled this enormous investment with a total a global transport of 758 million dollars. Split between $161 million in domestic revenue and $598 million from foreign markets, No time to die ended 2021 as the fourth highest-grossing film of the year, losing the top spot to third.
