Alyssa Thomas de Mercury sets a record with the 7th triple-double of the season

Los Angeles-Alyssa Thomas collected 12 points, 16 rebounds and 15 assists for her season’s record in a season in seventh triple-double, and the Phoenix Mercury beat Los Angeles Sparks 92-84 Tuesday evening.
Thomas obtained his 18th triple-double career with 2:50 to play on a shot. She broke her own record of six triple-doubles in one season, established in 2023.
“I think it’s my game all my career,” said Thomas. “Lots of credit to my teammates, overthrowing their open blows. I can be comfortable and play my game, make the readings I see, and it was not different this evening.”
Thomas, who collected 13 points, 12 rebounds and 16 assists during a victory on Friday, also became the first player in the history of the WNBA to display at least 10 points, 15 rebounds and 15 assists in a match. She is the first player in the history of the WNBA or the NBA with at least 12 rebounds and 15 assists in consecutive matches.
And she did it while fighting against a disease.
“Happy to have succeeded. I still don’t feel the best, but a victory still helps,” she said.
Thomas had only one point at half-time after trying two goals on the ground, to go with 10 assists and seven rebounds. She still managed to secure her sixth triple-double in August. No other player in the history of the WNBA has no triple-double in a civilian month, and no other player in the history of the WNBA has no more triples because in careers.
“She’s just too difficult to keep.” She does this every night. “
Phoenix (23-14) exceeded New York (23-15) for the unique possession of fourth place in the WNBA ranking.

The Mercury spent 11 out of 25 to 3 points, with nine brands from players outside the bench.
Dearica Hamby collected 25 points, eight rebounds and five interceptions for Los Angeles (17-19). Rickea Jackson collected 21 points and four points at 3 points, and Kelsey Plum scored 20 years. Plum has reached 700 points on the season, the third time she has done so in her career.
