Born in Mexico, Alvarez, Alvarez, made his Liga MX debut for the Boyhood Team Club America in October 2016, played for his country at 20 at the 2018 club World Cup and joined Ajax in July 2019, marking its debut in the Champions League against Lille in September 2019 and winning two Dutch titles with the Amsterdams.
