“An error on my side”

Jalen Carter expressed his regret after the victory of the Philadelphia Eagles season against Dallas Cowboys was overshadowed by his ejection for spitting on Dak Prescott.
The star defensive tackle was rejected immediately after the start of the opening, because it was seen spitting on the quarter of Dallas while the two teams were fixed for the first snapshot of the match.
Philadelphia struggled to store cowboys despite the Eagles who marked affected on their first three possessions against a defense of Dallas adapting to life without Micah Parsons, the Rusher of Pass Star which was marketed last week with sensation with the Bay Packers.
The Cowboys and Prescott had the chance to finish a journey in force when they got the ball with just over three minutes to play and drag in four points. However, this campaign did not progress beyond the 45 yards’ own line of cowboys as the fourth stop after the two-minute warning sealed a 24-20 victory for the Eagles.
But a night when the Eagles raised the banner for their Super Bowl victory last season was marred by Carter’s actions, which could face a suspension for the incident.
“It was an error that happened on my side. It will not happen again,” Carter said after the match. “I feel bad for my teammates and my fans there. I do it for them. I do it for my family, too. But fans, they showed the most love.
“Not being able to start the game itself, finishing the game, it makes me, but we will improve it. It will not happen again. I can make this promise.”
Images published later showed that Prescott seeming to spit on the ground towards the defensive line of the Eagles. Prescott clarified the situation on its side during its post-match press conference.
“I probably spit 1,000 times throughout the match,” said Prescott.
“In this case, (Carter) dragged, trying to play with (Cowboys Right Guard) Tyler Booker. I looked at him, I was here by the two line players, I guess I had to spit, I was not going to spit on my lines, I spit just in advance.”
Prescott explained that Carter had asked him if he was trying to spit on him.
“When I passed [the huddle]I said the words, “Why should I spit you?” “Added Prescott.
“He just spat me at that time. It was more surprised than anything.”
Referee Shawn Smith told the journalist for the game pool: “One of the officials observed [Carter] spit on an opponent. It is a disqualifiable fault in the game. It is a non-football act.
The Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni would not reveal if Carter would face the discipline of the team.
On the possibility of a league suspension, he said: “If I receive this SMS or this call and we will have this conversation, we will manage it then.”
The Eagles face the Kansas City chiefs in a revenge match of the Super Bowl during week 2.
