Ten days after releasing his 12th studio album, The life of a showgirlSwift announced exclusively on Hello America that a new documentary series entitled The end of an era– and a concert film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Showis reportedly heading to Disney+ at the end of the year.
“We broke every possible record with this tour,” the singer says in the joint trailer. “All that remains is to close the book.”
The six-part documentary series, the first two episodes of which premiere December 12, promises fans a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the highest-grossing concert tour of all time, while The final show presents the closing show of Swift’s Eras Tour in Vancouver in its entirety. Viewers can also expect to see his entire set of The Department of Tortured Poets for the first time.
