All eyes on Ghislaine Maxwell while the longtime Epstein assistant is looking for relief from prison

The heel on the Trump administration of the Jeffrey Epstein investigation files continues to seize Washington, which prompted the Ministry of Justice to plan an unusual meeting with the best confidant of Epstein, Ghelaine Maxwell, and the chamber’s surveillance committee to move to the assignment of its testimony in the middle of Bipartisan for transparency in the case.

The accent renewed on Maxwell occurs in the midst of persistent questions about Trump’s friendship with Epstein, the late and disgraced financier, including the troking trafficking trade a victim of more than 200 women and girls.

Maxwell is serving a 20-year sentence in the federal prison for its role by perpetuating one of the largest sex traffic rings in the history of the modern United States.

This is the first time that the Ministry of Justice has approached Maxwell’s lawyer for a meeting, according to the deputy prosecutor General Todd, who wrote in a statement that he would take the meeting himself “to ask: what do you know?”

“No one is above the law – and no advance is prohibited,” said Blanche, formerly one of Trump’s personal lawyers.

And yet, the Republicans and Democrats express suspicions on the measures of the Ministry of Justice, wondering if its awareness of Maxwell could be an effort to reduce a cooperation agreement with a figure holding unique ideas on the friendship of the president with Epstein.

Maxwell’s lawyer David Oscar Markus described Trump as “the final negotiation” earlier this month, and said this week that Maxwell’s team was “grateful to President Trump for his commitment to discover the truth in this case”.

“Ghislaine Maxwell is a federal prisoner at the moment. Obviously, she wants a forgiveness, so she will probably sing from everything Donald Trump tells her to sing,” said this week the representative Jamie Raskin, Democrat of Maryland and member of the judicial committee of the Chamber of the Judicial Committee of the Chamber.

Representative Thomas Massie (R-KY.) Introduced a binding resolution that would oblige the publication of FBI files linked to the Epstein survey, drawing a reprimand of Trump on social networks on Tuesday. And representative Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.), A long-standing ally of the president, told journalists that he did not trust the Ministry of Justice said to the public of the case.

“No, I don’t do it. I don’t do it. I don’t trust them,” he said. “I am great about clarity and transparency, and that is a good reason why people do not trust the government in both parties.”

Burchett signaled to the chamber’s surveillance committee Tuesday so that the panel proceeded with a summons for Maxwell to present himself for public testimonies, a decision which was adopted by vocal vote.

But to prevent a bipartite vote on the publication of the files from going upstairs of the room, the president of the Mike Johnson room had planned to send the room to the house for the summer recess a day earlier, telling journalists that there was no goal at the Congress who pushed the administration “to do something they already do”.

Epstein, a rich financier with a deep bench of powerful friends, died in a New York prison in August 2019 in the face of federal accusations for a sex trafficking plot for children.

New York Legalist and Inspector General of the Ministry of Justice both tried that Epstein’s death was suicide. But the suspicions of conspiracy surrounded his case and his premature death because of his association known with some of the most powerful men in the country.

Photos of Trump, Epstein and Maxwell are widely available, and Trump has recognized their friendship in the past.

“I have known Jeff for 15 years. A great geniinery,” Trump said in New York in 2002. “He’s very fun to be with it.”

“It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are younger,” he said. “Without a doubt on this subject – Jeffrey loves his social life.”

Last week, the Wall Street Journal reported that Trump had sent a 50th hot anniversary card to Epstein which included a sketch of a naked woman, with breasts and a signing of corrugated “Donald” imitating pubic hair. The sketch also included a note that said: “Happy birthday – and maybe another wonderful secret.” Maxwell compiled the album, according to the report.

Trump begged and reprimanded his supporters to switch from controversy, despite the conspiracies that caught up with a list of Epstein customers throughout the 2024 presidential election.

“I would say that these files were composed by [former FBI Director James] Comey and [former President] Obama, composed by Biden’s administration, “Trump now says:” And we have gone through years with Russia, Russia, Russia. “
