The advantages of eating small frequent meals

Some people assume that eating smaller meals throughout the day means eating more often. But you don’t necessarily have to eat, say, six meals a day instead of three. You may find that you only need four or five meals.
“It is not uncommon for many of my patients to jump breakfast if they feel foul or want to eat in the morning,” says Sharma. “I think one of the advantages of breakfast is that you have prepared to eat well throughout the day. But, if you prefer to graze later in the day, it’s absolutely good.”
If you have nausea or stomach burns after eating a late dinner, you may also want to limit your food consumption a few hours before falling asleep, says Sharma.
In the end: “As long as you eat in a way that you reach your nutritional goals, we do not say:” You must have this meal at a specific moment, “she said. Try to break your meals or eat at different times of the day.
“Everyone’s body reacts differently when you eat and how much you eat,” says Sharma. “I encourage patients to understand, over time, what works for them and what their bodies can manage.”
