FX published a second full trailer for Noah Hawley Alien: earthAnd in addition to giving us an overview of the redrawn xenomorph of the show, we see some of the other “monsters” Sydney Chandler, the hybrid soldier Android Wendy and the other protagonists will face
The Xeno only appears at the end of the teaser (and from a distance), but it seems to have kept the classic look of the emblematic creature for the most part.
During a new interview with ColliderHawley explained why he hesitated to deviate too much from the original design, and “did not want to play with the silhouette of the creature” at all.
“I always felt like it was the least effective when he looked like a guy in a costume. You know what I mean? So there are elements, as in the classic, there is just this great rib cage, which seems very human, so I wanted to try to minimize this and to play with other ideas.”

While talking to Deadline On the red carpet of the Emmy Awards last year, Hawley teased a new “frightening” version from abroad.
“There is something to see a xenomorphic in the wilderness of the earth with your own eyes. It is really frightening to think that it moves here among us, and therefore I cannot tell you under what circumstances you will see this, but you will see it – and you will lock your door that evening. Which was really fun for me is really to get involved with my own thoughts.
“But some of the elements as we know, whatever the host, informs the final creature”, “ He added. “I just wanted to play a little to do it as scary as it should be.”
The show recently completed its support cast with the addition of Richa Moorjani, Karen Aldridge, Andy Yu, Enzo Cilenti, Max Rinehart, Amir Boutrous, Victoria Masoma, Tom Moya, Michael Smiley, Jamie Bisping and Tanapol Chuksrida.
