Alexander Isak wishing to leave Newcastle this summer in the middle of Liverpool’s interest

Alexander Isak pushes to leave Newcastle and join Liverpool before closing the summer transfer window on September 1.

The reports suggest that the ambition of the Swedish striker is to move to the Premier League champions, although Newcastle rejected an offer of 110 million pounds from Liverpool in early August.

The Reds later indicated that they were ready to move away from the agreement.

After Newcastle’s pre-season defeat against Atletico Madrid, manager Eddie Howe admitted “everything is at stake” concerning the future of Isak, but said that he was “clear” that he “cannot involve” the attacker in his current plans.

Consequently, Isak should miss the first Newcastle Premier League match on Aston Villa on Saturday.

The former Real Sociedad striker missed the pre-season tour of Newcastle in the Far East with what was described as a “minor” thigh injury.

He then trained alone to the former Real Sociedad club before returning to the United Kingdom last week. Isak, who scored 27 goals in 42 appearances last season, has another three years on his contract.

Newcastle attempts to find a new striker have so far failed. Liam Delap joined Chelsea, Benjamin Sesko signed for Manchester United and Hugo Ekitike moved to Liverpool.

The interest remains in Yoane Wissa de Brentford, who left the pre-season camp of bees in Portugal in July due to his desire to join Newcastle.

Dr. Congo Forward, 28, returned to training last week after construction talks with head coach Keith Andrews, but is still eager to move if costs can be agreed.

Meanwhile, Newcastle is about to finalize the signature of the central defender of AC Milan, Malick Thiaw, who should go to Tyneside on Sunday evening to make a transfer of 34.6 million pounds sterling.
