Alexander Isak accepts Liverpool conditions, current transfer talks

Liverpool wishes to sign the Newcastle United striker, Alexander Isak, during the summer transfer window.

According to Sky Germany journalist Florian Prettenberg, Alexander Isak has already obtained an agreement with Liverpool on personal conditions. There is a verbal agreement in place with the player, and Liverpool is now in contact with Newcastle to conclude the agreement.

It will be interesting to see if the two clubs can agree on costs.

Can Liverpool sign Alexander Isak?

Liverpool likes the Swedish international, and he could prove to be an exceptional acquisition. They need a quality attacker who can regularly find the back of the net. Darwin Nunez managed to score only seven goals last season. They need an upgrade on the South American if they want to win the UEFA Champions League and fight regularly for the title.

Clubs like Manchester City and Arsenal have enormously improved their team, and Liverpool must also improve. Isak was the best attacker in the Premier League last season, and he could prove to be an excellent addition.

The attacker is likely to gain wages similar to that of Hugo Ekitike. The French international joined Liverpool earlier this summer. Isak is likely to associate with Ekitike in the attack if the movement is happening.

The Swedish international helped Newcastle win the English League Cup last season, and he helped them guarantee the qualification of the UEFA Champions League. However, it’s the right time for him to spend the next stage and join a club where he will win major trophies. Joining the Premier League champions would be ideal for him.

Meanwhile, Liverpool will have to pay British transfer fees to conclude the agreement, and it remains to be seen how the situation takes place. Newcastle will be very disappointed to lose a player from his caliber.
