Alex Scott wants to reproduce ‘2023 lions winning lions before space in the quarter -final clash

England midfielder U21, Alex Scott, urged his teammates to “reproduce what the guys did two years ago” before the conflict in the quarter -final Euro U21 of the three Lions with Spain on Saturday.
The match in Trnava will be a rehearsal of the 2023 final – that England won 1-0 – after the three Lions progressed as finalists in group B after a 2-1 defeat against Germany Rival on Wednesday evening.
Scott scored his first U21 goal after Lee Carsley’s team followed 2-0 at the break thanks to Ansgar Knauff and Nelson Weiper.
But, despite the big spells of the match, the holders of the tournament could not stage a late return and had to settle for second place in the group and a date with an enemy familiar in the next round.

“We are disappointed with the result,” Scott told Channel 4 after the match. โWe did not start well enough and it ultimately cost us.
“Fortunately, we qualified in second position, so it’s positive and we will seek to go to the quarter -finals now.”
Asked about the importance of his goal of showing an attitude without die, the Bournemouth player, 21, said: “Yeah [it was] huge. I think the second half has completely changed.
“We changed the form and he released MacCa [James McAtee] As number 10. We have definitely improved and this is something on which we can now build in the quarter -finals. ยปยป
Despite the progression to the stadiums with direct elimination, the young Lions in Carsley were far from clinical in front of the goal of their first three games.
Scott, however, insisted that the goals would come: โWe work in training. Guys score goals every day. It is not yet completely clicked in the games, but with the quality we have in this team, it is only a matter of time before the goals start to fly. โ
When asked for his reflections before the last force test with the favorites of the Spain competition, Scott was frank in his evaluation.
“Replies what the guys did two years ago,” he added.
“It will be difficult. Each Spanish team is very good on the ball, very quiet and composed. We are going to recover from this and look in Spain and separate them.
“I hope we can do good performance.”
The kick-off for England U21 against Spain U21 is at 8:00 p.m. (UK) on Saturday June 21.
