Alec and Hilaria Baldwin’s Marriage ‘On Unsteady Ground’ as They List Their Hamptons Home (Exclusive)
Alex Baldwin is under a lot of stress, a source exclusively told National investigator.
“There’s a lot of pressure on him right now,” the source said of the 67-year-old actor, who recently put his wife and Hilaria BaldwinThe Hamptons home is back on the market.
According to World Manorthe Baldwins are now asking $21 million for the property in Amagansett, New York, after taking it off the market in July 2024 when it was on sale for about $2 million less.
THE Applicant A source claims that the father of eight is currently facing financial difficulties, which could be the reason for the skyrocketing prices.
“[Alec] is in trouble financially,” says the source, claiming that his ill-fated Western film Rust “Nearly destroyed it.”
According to The Hollywood Reporterthe film only grossed about $25,000 from 115 theaters in its opening weekend.
But aside from the box office explosion, the incident on set – in which the cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was fatally shot when a live bullet was fired from a prop gun – this likely cost Alec dearly in legal fees. The charges against Alec in this case were ultimately dismissed.
“Plus,” the source points out, “he has all these kids and Hilaria loves living large.”

With so much going on for Alec, “their marriage is on shaky ground right now,” the source claims, adding that he’s also not “a happy camper with [Hilaria’s] Dancing with the stars assigned work.” (As National investigator previously reported, rumors of jealousy swirled when the couple uprooted their family and moved their seven children to Los Angeles so the 41-year-old could compete.)
That doesn’t mean all hope is lost for the Baldwins, though.
“Listing the Hamptons house doesn’t mean they’re headed for divorce,” the source explains. “This is more a reflection of his current financial problems. He needs the money.”
