Dabang Delhi returned to winning ways with a 39-33 win over Gujarat Giants on Friday, October 10. They thus became the first team to qualify for the playoffs. Dabang Delhi will participate in the first Play-in on Saturday, October 25.
Akshit Dhull, who got an opportunity in the absence of Ashu Malik, grabbed it with both hands. He achieved a superb Super 10, collecting 12 raid points. Ajinkya Pawar and Neeraj Narwal supported him well with five raid points and four raid points each respectively. Saurabh Nandal and Fazel Atrachali also scored three tackle points each.

A few decisions have been in favor of Delhi. Fans also reacted to the same.
“What is this? The umpires are favoring Dabang Delhi. This is too much. Four or five wrong decisions were taken against Gujarat Giants. They would have easily won the match if the umpires were neutral,” wrote a fan.
Himanshu Singh scored 11 raid runs for Gujarat Giants. Mohammadreza Shadloui and Himanshu landed High 5s with five tackle points each. However, they found themselves on the wrong side of the result.
Dabang Delhi will aim to enter the playoffs on a strong note
After qualifying for Play-in 1, Dabang Delhi showed how amazing this season has been for them. They were extremely consistent throughout. With 12 wins and 14 points in 14 matches, they continue to stay at the top of the table.
Delhi has four games left before the playoffs. They will face Puneri Paltan on Sunday, October 12. After a short gap, they will face Tamil Thalaivas on Friday, October 17. They will next face Bengaluru Bulls on Saturday, October 18. Their final match of the league stage will be against Patna Pirates on Wednesday, October 22.
Despite their qualification, they will be keen to continue their domination. They would also look to test the strength of the bench and keep their key players fresh for the business end of the tournament.
