Arch Madness: The co -owner of the Browns Minimism The Manning Brouillon speech

Berea, Ohio – The co -owner of Browns, Jimmy Haslam, rejected the speculations on Tuesday that he looked at the quarter of Texas Arch Manning in the draft of the NFL 2026.
Haslam is a former student of Tennessee who has a solid relationship with the Manning family, including Peyton, the Arch uncle. The Browns have two first -round choices in next year’s draft when Arch is eligible. Haslam was asked about speculation on Tuesday.
“I think that if you know the Manning family, I bet that – and I don’t know Arch at all – I bet that there are university left for two years,” said Haslam. “So, I don’t even think it’s worth talking.”
Arch, which begins its first season as a full -time leaving, has circumvented questions about its potential to become a professional by speaking to the dry media a few days earlier in the month.
Haslam also denied having forced the choice of the Browns of the quarter Sanders Sanders in the fifth round of the NFL draft in 2025, saying that the decision had been taken by the director general Andrew Berry, despite the speculations according to which he played a role in the selection. Cameras inside the Draft room of the Browns caught Haslam sitting behind Berry and head coach Kevin Stefanski when the choice of Sanders was announced.
Cleveland ended the surprising shift of Sanders in day 3 of the draft when he chose Sanders with the 144th choice in total. Sanders was the second quarter that the Browns took in the draft, following Dillon Gabriel, who was selected with the 94th choice in total.
“We have a good process,” said Haslam. “If you had said to me … Friday evening, returning home, you will all choose SheDer, I would have said:” It does not happen. “But, we had a conversation early that morning and we had a conversation later during the day.
