Ajit Agarkar breaks the silence on Rohit Sharma, the chances of the Virat Kohli World Cup in 2027 and Captain Odi of Shubman Gill

The chief selector of the Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI), Ajit Agarkar, opened its doors to the chances of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in the Male World Cup ICC 2027.
Ajit Agarkar also revealed why Shubman Gill received Captain Odi for the next series against the national Australian cricket team.

Rohit Sharma was dismissed as an ODI skipper from India, with Shubman Gill taking care of. However, he was appointed to the team for the Australian tour alongside Virat Kohli.

Kohli and Rohit are both players in format, having retired from the test and T20is earlier. However, repeatedly, they have expressed the desire to play the ODI 2027 World Cup.
However, there is a strong possibility that they do not appear in the next 50 -year -old World Cup. Addressing the media after the team’s announcement for the Australian tour, Ajit Agarkar said that Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were not engaged about the World Cup.
“Rohit and Virat are not engaged in the World Cup (2027),” said Ajit Agarkar.
“These are big on the match and they have scored tons of points for India. We expect the marking points in India and continue to do so. They are team leaders,” he added about the duo.

Ajit Agarkar reveals why Shubman Gill was named skipper
While speaking of the appointment of Shubman Gill as Skipper Odi, Ajit Agarkar said that having three different captains is quite difficult; Consequently, the decision was made to raise the Punjab Lad. He said:
“It is practically impossible to have 3 different captains for three formats. It is also difficult for the coach to plan with 3 different captains. And it gives the next guy next to plan everything that happens. ”
