Aidy Bryant returns to ‘SNL’ to help fire Bowen Yang

Aidy Bryant returned to Saturday evening live tonight, more than three years since she left the show in May 2022.
Bryant was there to help bid farewell to Bowen Yang, bringing back their classic Trend Forecasters characters on Weekend Update.
The two men told Michael Che that they gathered trends from a “very huge, sweaty, rock-hard computer.” One of the trends? Rush hour 4. “Thank you Trump,” Yang said.
Bryant was on the show between season 38 and season 47. The couple appeared regularly as trend forecasters in 2022.
After leaving the show, Yang said he wouldn’t do anything without her but expected to see her back in the studio at some point.
“Honestly, I never would have thought of doing it without Aidy,” Yang said. Weekly Entertainment. “I feel like the next time we do it is when Aidy comes back to host. I feel like that day will be a lot sooner than we think, or I hope it’s a lot sooner than I think because she’s just going to be everyone’s boss at some point in show business. So I feel like she’ll have her moment to come back, I hope, and maybe, if everything lines up properly, we will start again.”
