“ After the hunt ” opens the Buzzy international range of the Rio Film Festival

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil – “After the Hunt” by Luca Guadagnino will open on 27th Edition of the Rio International Film Fest, the largest Latin American festival. The film, with Julia Roberts, Ayo Edebiri and Andrew Garfield, will be screened on October 2 during the festival opening ceremony in downtown Rio Cinelândia (Cinemiand) Square Landmark Theatre Odeon.
Rio Film Fest Unpools during the period from October 2 to 12 and will showcase around 260 films, 124 from Brazil and the rest of dozens of countries around the world. Chloé Zhao’s “Hamnet” will close the vast program of the festival on October 11. The screening will be in the Odeon theater, also the house of the prize ceremony of the festival the next day. “Hamnet” recently won the prize for the choice of very coveted people in Toronto, strengthening his chances of the Oscars.
The French star Juliette Binoche will attend the Rio Film Festival to present “In-I in Motion”, his first film as a director. The film brings together the creative process behind a performance co-created by Binoche and the British choreographer acclaimed Akram Khan in 2007.

Renomian Werner Herzog’s latest director, “Ghost Elephants”, is a doc who follows Steve Boyes, a South African naturalist, in his search for what he believes to be a non-discovery species of African elephant on the plateau of the Highlands of Angola.
Claire Denis ‘closing is a French adaptation in English from Bernard-Marie Koltès’ play “Black Battles with Dogs”, which explores the grip of colonialism on a West African community.
