After carrying out his sequence of seven consecutive defeats on Saturday evening, the Los Angeles Angels will aim to divide their series of four games against Detroit Tigerson on Sunday afternoon in Anaheim, California.

It will be easier with the veteran closer to Kenley Jansen in a better mindset.

He obtained his seventh judgment of the season by withdrawing two strikers on three throws on Saturday in the 5-2 victory of his team after a disastrous outing during the defeat of 9-1 on Friday against the Tigers.

Jansen entered the Friday match in ninth round with the 1-1 score. He quickly abandoned consecutive circuits to Riley Greene and Colt Keith.

In all, Jansen granted six points and three circuits (Javier Baez struck a two -point circuit). And with the angels at the top of 5-1 in the ninth, but with the runners of Detroit the second and third with a Saturday, Jansen wanted redemption.

It was again Greene and Keith who were waiting for Jansen. But this time, Greene struck a group for first, who marked the runner of the third, and Keith aligned himself to finish the match.

“You just have to go back there,” said Jansen. “… It’s a long season. If you do it for a while, you will continue to learn crazy things. You have to control it, stick to the process.”

Los Angeles director Ron Washington said: “You saw how much he wanted,” Washington said about his closest. “… We told him that if they had two, he came in the match. And he wanted this opportunity again.”

“It’s a pro, and the pros does not retreat,” continued Washington. “The pros accept everything that happens to them, and that’s what we are trying to do. We are trying to be pros, trying to accept what happened to us and continue working. Because when you look back, we have been in many ball games.”

The right-hander Jack Kochanowicz (1-4, 5.29 ERA) will start for Los Angeles on Sunday. Kochanowicz faced the tigers once in his career, abandoning any points and five strokes in six heats of a 3-0 victory last August.

The Tigers made their bats cool previously hot on Saturday by the Starter des Angels, Kyle Hendricks, who authorized the race and four strokes in 7 2/3 rounds. Detroit succeeded 26 points and 11 circuits during a sequence of three consecutive victories which was broken with the defeat on Saturday.

“We have not been timed on anything, which is the art of pitching,” said Tigers manager AJ Hinch. “We really didn’t have the adjustments, and he deceived us.”

The fundamentals were also a strong point for the Tigers, the 21 victories of which are most in the American League. But they failed to play with two withdrawals in the second round when Outfielders Greene and Kerry Carpenter collided in a right center field and that they combined to drop the ball, allowing a scoring race. The right defender Carpenter obtained the error.

“I saw them colliding and, obviously, this is a piece that must be made,” said Detroit manager AJ Hinch. “It’s frustrating. You don’t think it’s a big game, but it was a big game for a large part of the game.”

The right-hander Reese Olson (3-2, 3.55 ERA) should start for Tigers on Sunday. Olson opposed the angels once in his career, abandoning two points and five strokes in a decision without a decision last June. Tigers lost 6-5.
