Adam Scottour guest on this episode of The Hollywood Reporter‘s Chatter Podcast, has been doing out -of -television work for decades. He stole scenes on Starz Party (2009-2010), NBC Parks and leisure (2010-2015) and HBO Big little lies (2017-2019). But nothing presented his talent and magnetism as Apple TV + BreakupOn which, since 2022, he has played Mark, a mourning history professor who chooses to undergo revolutionary procedure which creates a total mental separation between his personal life and his work, resulting in “innie” and “outnue” versions of self.
In 2022, the first season of Breakup Was recognized with 14 Emmy nominations, including the best actor in a dramatic series for Scott and the best dramatic series, for which Scott, as producer of the show, was also personally in the running.
