WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce warned a popular star in a backstage segment on the latest edition of Monday Night RAW. The name in question is former world heavyweight champion Gunther.
During the Saturday Night Main Event on December 13, 2025, Gunther broke several hearts by making John Cena tap out during the latter’s final exit inside the ring. Since then, he has made fun of Cena and disrespected the GOAT in his promos.

This evening Stranger Things edition of WWE RAW, Adam Pearce warned The Ring General in a backstage segment. During the conversation, Pearce pointed out that it was the first anniversary of The Red Brand on Netflix and that there were a lot of eyes on the series.
He also warned the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, saying that everyone in the locker room had their eyes on him because of all the disrespect he had shown towards John Cena since he beat him. Pearce also advised The Ring General to show a little respect in his promo on tonight’s RAW.
“Gunther, listen before you go out. It’s a big night. The first of the new year. One year on Netflix. There are tons of eyes on this show tonight, and there are tons of eyes on you. I’m talking about this locker room. Everyone saw you beat John Cena, and no one can take that away from you, okay? You deserved it. But everyone saw how you acted afterwards. The lack of respect and how much you seem to enjoy it. So look, you do what you want, but it’s a huge night, go ahead, speak from the heart, get it all off your chest, mix it with a little respect, it goes a long way,” Pearce said.
