Celtic continued its perfect start for the Scottish Première season with a 2-0 victory in Aberdeen.
The hoops fought with their victory for the opening against St Mirren, leaving it late before the shot of the 87th minute of Luke McCowan, the three points, and although the visitors had to go through a 20 -minute opening test in Pittodrie, they obtained a success ultimately comfortable to make two victories from two to two at the start of the season.
Aberdeen sought to rely on their final victory of the Scottish Cup against Celtic at the end of last season and they started in a determined manner. Jimmy Thelin’s team was strong in the tackle in the first stadiums, which makes life extremely difficult in Celtic, which had no time on the ball.

He finally came in the 66th minute and this was worth the expectation from a Celtic point of view as the powerful strike from Reo Hatate beat Mitov and found the bottom of the net via the underwear to fill a routine victory for the champions.
Brendan Rodgers wants new players, but these are two victories and two clean leaves. Celtic improves in the season.

“Serious problems to come for Aberdeen”

“It is very worrying for Aberdeen. It is only five victories in 29 games since last November, when people spoke to them as serious suitors.
“There is a sweetness about Aberdeen. They seem lethargic and lack combat. They were passive.
“Celtic, or any team that has come to Pittodrie in the past, would be able to fight to get the three points. They would be in a battle, but Celtic was under cruising regulator.
“They never got out of second speed and Aberdeen never put a glove on them.
“Thelin has a lot of concerns. It’s not good enough for a few months now. They had a very good day in May when they won the Scottish Cup, but they never really looked to score against Celtic. This cup success was great and it was long to come, but it could simply be making paper on cracks.
“They have serious problems to come. I don’t see any progress.”
